The War

On the night of August 8, the tense situation in the unrecognized South Ossetia, saved with the end of July, turned into large-scale armed confrontation.  Georgian troops crossed the offensive and by the middle of the day seized the capital of South Ossetia - Tskhinvali.

Currently, Tskhinvali shelling stopped. The town almost completely destroyed, no light, water, destroyed hospitals and other infrastructure.The number of victims is estimated at 1500 people.
